Making the Right Choice
When it comes to designing your bathroom you will often find that one of the most difficult choices to make is the use of space, because no matter what you seem to do there always seems to be too much clutter and not enough free space to make the bathroom into a comfortable place to be. This has been a long-term problem for many bathroom designers, but in the past few years there has been a growth in the number of corner bathtubs that have become available, giving more options for having a decent sized bathtub and the ability to save some space in even the smallest and compact bathroom.
The great thing about this type of bathtub is that the bathing area itself is pretty much the same as that of a normal bathtub, and yet installing one can save so much space you may well be able to fit an extra bathroom unit in such as a heated towel rail, or even a bidet if you want something a little exotic in your bathroom. In fact some of the deeper models are actually a soaking tub, which enables you to sit in water that can come up to the chest, or even right up to the neck.
This design can be enhanced even further by fitting one or two seats into the tub, and in the case of the latter can turn it into a very nice two-person bathtub. There are also now many bathtub models available with a Jacuzzi ready-fitted, which means the tub can double as both a soaking tub and a Jacuzzi tub at the same time. And when it comes to the range of colors you can find yourself spoiled for choice, because due to the fact that these bathtubs are usually produced from a modern material such as acrylic, the range of colors is so wide it will usually fit in with any other design elements you have planned, with every color from plain white to the more vivid bright red and pink being available.
No matter how compact your bathroom actually is, or even if you have quite a spacious room to begin with, a corner bathtub can be a great choice to make, able to give you a stylish appearance coupled with a large sized bathtub without taking up a huge amount of space.
